Relative MIF mRNA expression by −794 (rs5844572) and −173 G>C MIF (rs755622) haplotype in normal-weight and obese subjects. (a) The slightly higher MIF mRNA expression was observed in the 6G carriers, while the 5G carriers had a low expression in the total population.
