Measurement of the Red Blood Cell Distribution Width Improves the Risk Prediction in Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy

Increased RDW and NT-proBNP levels predict the 5-year mortality of chronic heart failure patients before CRT. We performed receiver operating characteristic analysis (a) and dichotomized the continuous variables so as to obtain the same sensitivity values.
