Technical Refinements in Single-Port Laparoscopic Surgery of Inguinal Hernia in Infants and Children
Laparoscopic views of 17 months (a) and 24 months (b) after traditional open herniotomy for right side inguinal hernias. Without intraabdominal manipulation, open herniotomy still causes local intraperitoneal adhesion (arrows) at the original entrance into the hernia sac.
