A Representative immunoblots of protein expression of insulin receptor-related signaling mediators in the soleus muscles of fructose chow-fed rats following repeated oral administration of DBT (2.5 g k per day) or rosiglitazone (4 mg k per day) for 14 days. Rats that did not receive any treatment were given the same volume of vehicle (distilled water) used to dissolve the test medications. Findings were reproduced on four separate occasions. Quantification of the data is shown in Table 2.
