Measurements were obtained from plasma of rats in the fasting state, after 12 weeks of standard diet (control) or high-fat diet alone (NASH), or supplemented with silibinin–phosphatidylcholine complex (Silibinin), at a dose of 200 mg kg⁻¹ as silibinin, during the last 5 weeks. Values are expressed as means ± SE of six rats for Control and NASH groups and of eight rats for Silibinin group. The P-values for the ANOVA Fisher's PLSD test are given.
