Curdione Plays an Important Role in the Inhibitory Effect of Curcuma aromatica on CYP3A4 in Caco-2 Cells

Induction of CYP3A4 activity and protein expression by 1α,25-(OH)2-D3. Caco-2 clone cells grown on culture inserts were treated with 1α,25-(OH)2-D3 (250 nM) for 3 weeks after confluence. (a) Metabolic activity of 1α,25-(OH)2-D3-treated Caco-2 clone cells. Nifedipine (200  M) was added to the apical compartment.
