Effects of the AAM with forskolin (adenylate cyclase activator) or KT5720 (PKA inhibitor) on hypertonic stress-induced AQP2 expression. The cells were pretreated with forskolin (10 μM), or KT5720 (3 μM) with/without AAM (10 μg/mL), and then cultured in medium supplemented with 175 mM NaCl for 1 h. After treatment, the protein was extracted from the cells, and AQP2 expression was determined by western blot analysis. The values represent the mean ± S.E. values of 3 individual experiments. * versus control; # versus NaCl alone; + versus the AAM with NaCl.
