Effect of PCME on TXA2 generation and cAMP production. ADP (10 M) evoked TXB2 production (as measure of TXA2 generation) which was measured after 5 min of ADP stimulation according to EIA Kit instructions (a). For cAMP assay (b), washed platelets were stirred with vehicle, PCME, or forskolin in an aggregometer prior to ADP stimulation for 5 min. Reaction was terminated, and then cAMP enzyme immunoassay was performed as described in Section 2.
