Catenarin Prevents Type 1 Diabetes in Nonobese Diabetic Mice via Inhibition of Leukocyte Migration Involving the MEK6/p38 and MEK7/JNK Pathways

Effect of catenarin on calcium mobilization elicited by MIP-1β or SDF-1β. Ten million JK-EF1α-CCR5 cells (a) and Jurkat cells (b) were pretreated with vehicle, catenarin (1–5 μg/mL), SB202190 (SB), or SP600125 (SP) for 1 h. After Fura 2-AM loading, the cells were stimulated with MIP-1β (a) or SDF-1β (b). Level of intracellular calcium, as shown by the 340/380 nm ratio, was detected using a fluorescence spectrophotometer.
