Influence of quercetin on eosinophil degranulation induced by stem cell factor (SFC) stimulation in vitro. Eosinophils (5 × 105 cells/mL) obtained from mice infected with Mesocestoides corti (500 larvae/mouse) were stimulated in triplicate with 200 ng/mL SCF in the presence of various concentrations of quercetin for 24 h. Factor levels in culture supernatants were examined by ELISA. The data are expressed as the mean ± standard errors of the means (SEM). Med. alone: medium alone; (a) ECP; (b) MBP.
