Inhibitory Effects of Baicalin on the Expression and Activity of CYP3A Induce the Pharmacokinetic Changes of Midazolam in Rats

Figure 3

The plasma concentration-time profiles of MDZ (10 mg/kg, i.v.) after treatment with baicalin in rats. Animals received MDZ together with (a) baicalin at a single dose of 0.225 g/kg ( ) or 0.45 g/kg ( ); (b) baicalin (0.90 g/kg, i.v.) once for 1 day and the same dose for 7 days ( ). The results are the mean ± SD of the indicated number of rats.
