AP-1/IRF-3 Targeted Anti-Inflammatory Activity of Andrographolide Isolated from Andrographis paniculata

Figure 4

The effect of AG on nuclear translocation of total or phosphoforms of transcription factors. ((a), (b)) RAW264.7 cells ( cells/mL) were incubated with AG in the absence or presence of LPS (1 μg/mL) for the indicated time. After preparing nuclear fractions, levels of total or phospho-forms of nuclear localized transcription factors, namely, (a) c-Fos, c-Jun, p-ATF-2, p-CEBP, p-Fra-1, CEBP, and Fra-1 and (b) p-STAT-1 and STAT-1 were identified by immunoblotting. Relative intensities were calculated with a DNR Bioimaging system (GelQuant software version. 2.7). Data ((a) right panel and (b) lower panel) are presented as the mean ± SD of relative intensity values of 3 blots ( ). and compared to control group.
