Direct Radiofrequency Application Improves Pain and Gait in Collagenase-Induced Acute Achilles Tendon Injury
Time of stance phase and double stance were significantly decreased in experimental group when compared with PBS sham control group ((a) and (b), , ). Toe-spread (1st–5th toe) distance decreased in RF-treated, collagenase- injected rats when compared with sham controls ((c), , ). Data obtained from normal controls were used to normalize each gait parameter in sham and experimental groups.
