Notice some rod-shaped nuclei (arrows) which were clearly differentiated from the round ones (arrowheads) of lymphocytes. (b) Phalloidin signal image of the primo vessel. The pattern of the f-actins was different from that of lymphocytes. (c) Differential interference contrast image of the primo vessel. The PVS-region was clearly distinguishable from the aggregate parts even without any fluorescence.
