(a) Normal rats, (b) vehicle-treated CIA rats, and (c) QFGJS-treated CIA rats. After first dimension of IEF and second dimension of electrophoresis, the 2D gels were stained with silver solution. The gel images were scanned with Image Scanner III and analyzed with Progenesis SameSpots software. Protein spots showing the significantly altered expression levels among three groups of animals were marked and then excised for trypsin digestion followed by MALDI-TOF-MS/MS identification and database searching.
