Antinociceptive and Anti-Inflammatory Effects of Orally Administrated Denatured Naja Naja Atra Venom on Murine Rheumatoid Arthritis Models

<table>Histological examination of ankle joints. AIA rats were treated therapeutically with the denatured NNAV (30, 90, 270 <i>μ</i>g/kg, i.g.). Sections were stained with hematoxylin and eosin (cartilage 100x, synovium 200x). Compared with the untreated AIA joint, infiltration of inflammatory cells and accumulation of collagen and hyperplasia of articular cartridge were markedly ameliorated by posttreatment with denatured NNAV. </table>
