Inhibitory Effects of Traditional Herbal Formula Pyungwi-San on Inflammatory Response In Vitro and In Vivo

Figure 5

Inhibitory effects ofPWS on phosphorylation of MAPKs (ERK, JNK, and p38) in LPS-induced Raw 264.7 cells. Cells were treated with indicated concentrations of PWS for 1 h, followed by induction with 1 μg/mL LPS for 15 min. Western blot analysis was performed using anti-phosphokinase antibodies for analysis of equal amounts of cell extracts, respectively. Western blot detection of nonphosphorylated kinases was estimated with the protein loading control for each lane. The blots shown are representative of three blots yielding similar results. Data represent the mean ± S.D from three separate experiments. ## and ### indicate significant differences, compared with the LPS-induced group.
