Neuroprotective properties of CSEE against H ₂O ₂-induced cytotoxicity. SH-SY5Y cells were seeded at 1×10⁴ cell/well in 96-well microplate and treated with (a) CSEE (1/10000, 1/1000, and 1/100 v/v dilutions) for 72 h, (b) SH-SY5Y cells were pretreated with CSEE (1/10000, 1/1000 and 1/500 v/v dilutions) for 24 h and then treated with 150 μM H₂O₂ for 24 h. Cell viability was determined using MTT assay as explained in Materials and Methods. Each bar represents the mean of 3 independent trials ± SD. *𝑃<0.05, **𝑃<0.01 versus control cells, (Student’s 𝑡-test).
