Effect of EEAO posttreatment on expressions of proinflammatory cytokines in the lung. Total RNA was extracted from the harvested lungs, and expressions of IL-1β and TNF-α were analyzed by Semiquantitative RT-PCR. The intensity of each PCR band was measured by densitometric analysis (ImageJ) and normalized to GAPDH intensity. *𝑃 was less than 0.01, compared to the LPS treated (post-ANOVA comparison with Tukey’s post hoc test).
