Effects of CPC on LPS-induced lung edema, lung MPO activity, and total cells in BALF. Rats were administrated with CPC (50 mg/kg, i.p.) 3 h after LPS was instilled intratracheally. The protein concentration and total cell numbers in the BALF, Evans blue level, lung wet/dry weigh ratio, and lung MPO activity were determined 6 h after LPS challenge.
