The spleen cells ( cells/mL) were treated with Con A (1  g/mL) or LPS (10  g/mL) for 24 hours and culture supernatants were harvested and stored at −20°C until use. IL-2 and IFN- were measured in the Con A-stimulated supernatant. IL-6, TNF- , IgM, and IgG1 were measured in the LPS-stimulated supernatant. Values are expressed as means ± S.D.
