Adipogenic Activity of Wild Populations of Rhododendron groenlandicum, a Medicinal Shrub from the James Bay Cree Traditional Pharmacopeia

Intracellular triglycerides content of 3T3-L1 murine adipocytes exposed to 75 μg/mL of R. groenlandicum leaf extracts collected from various locations. Quercetin concentrations in crude extract were significantly and negatively associated with the species’ adipogenic activity (). Triglyceride contents are normalized to the vehicle control (0.1% DMSO).
