G1: normal control, G2: hypercholesterolemic control, G3: simvastatin-treated (10 mg/kg), G4: B. alba extract-treated (100 mg/kg), and G5: B. alba extract-treated (200 mg/kg). All data are presented as the mean ± SD ( for each group). One-way ANOVA was performed followed by Dunnett’s post hoc test for multiple comparisons. Within a column, values sharing the same superscript letters are not significantly different from each other ( < 0.05).
