Recovery of the inhibition of recombinant monoamine oxidases, hMAO-A (a) and hMAO-B (b), by genistein (GST) after 40 min preincubation and GST dilution to 0.1x IC₅₀ and 1x IC₅₀. The recovery of GST 1x IC₅₀ is stable in hMAO-A (c) and hMAO-B (d). Clorgyline (CLORG) and deprenyl (DEP) were used as standard controls for hMAO-A and hMAO-B, respectively. The percentage of residual enzymes catalytic rates compared to their related negative control was expressed as mean ± SEM, . Data represent two experiments for each isozyme.
