Investigation of Calcium Channel Blockers as Antiprotozoal Agents and Their Interference in the Metabolism of<i> Leishmania (L.) infantum</i>

<div>ROS generation in promastigotes in the presence of amlodipine and fendiline. The ROS production was verified using the indicator 2′,7′-dichlorodihydrofluorescein diacetate (H<sub>2</sub>DCF-DA) after incubation with amlodipine and fendiline (20 <i>μ</i>M). Nitazoxanide was used as positive control.
