R = rhein, H = honokiol, N = naringin, and DCQD = Dachengqi decoction. Ten components = the mixture of the ten components from DCQD. AR42J cells were pretreated with or without rhein, honokiol, and naringin with the peak concentrations individually or in combination for 30 min and then stimulated with cerulein (10 nM) for 24 h. Cells were stained with the Annexin V-FITC Apoptosis Detection Kit and analyzed by flow cytometry. The results are mean ± SD. versus normal group; versus rhein-treated group; versus DCQD-treated group; versus cerulein alone-treated group.
