PNS inhibited NADPH oxidase 4 (Nox4) expression in rat RCECs exposed to high glucose. Western blot (a) and immunofluorescence (b) analyses were performed to detect Nox4 by PNS in rat RCECs exposed to 30 mM of glucose for 72 h. We found that PNS could reduce Nox4 expression.
