Protective Effects of Wogonin against Alzheimer’s Disease by Inhibition of Amyloidogenic Pathway

Figure 2

Wogonin rescued the loss of the mitochondrial membrane potential in Tet-On Aβ42-GFP SH-SY5Y cells. Aβ42-GFP SH-SY5Y cells were incubated with/without 10 μM wogonin for one day at a density of 1 × 105, and then cells were induced with 10 μg/mL doxycycline (Dox) to express Aβ42 for five days. The cells were treated with vehicle as a control, and the loss of was measured by JC-1 staining with a flow cytometer. The treatments included (a) control, (b) Dox (10 μg/mL), and (c) Dox with wogonin (10 μM).
