Apigenin Inhibits Human SW620 Cell Growth by Targeting Polyamine Catabolism

Polyamine content (nmol/mg protein) of SW620 cells after exposure to different concentrations of apigenin (10, 20, and 40 μM), DFMO (2.5 mM), and a combination of DFMO and apigenin for 48 h. The effect of exogenous-spermidine (5 μM) after 48 h of treatment is also shown. The value was determined by one-way analysis with Dunnett’s posttest. and versus control.
