Effect of C. deserticola Y.C.Ma and C. tubulosa decoctions on serum hormone concentrations in hanging stressed mice. After adaptation, the experimental groups were administered with herb Cistanche decoction by gavage for 21 days and then suspended by tail for 5 min, each group was comprised of 10 mice, and the blood was harvested and used for determination of serum adrenocorticotrophic hormone (ACTH) and corticosterone (CORT) level.
