Tongxinluo Regulates Expression of Tight Junction Proteins and Alleviates Endothelial Cell Monolayer Hyperpermeability via ERK-1/2 Signaling Pathway in Oxidized Low-Density Lipoprotein-Induced Human Umbilical Vein Endothelial Cells

TXL decreased ox-LDL-induced hyperpermeability in HUVECs. HUVECs were treated with ox-LDL (120 μg/mL) for 24 h prior to treatment with TXL (200 μg/mL) for 4 h. At different time points, the endothelial permeability was determined by the transwell assay. Quantitative analysis was performed by measuring FD40 fluorescence intensity relative to the control.
