extract: freeze-dried extract prepared from A. satureioides decoction. -dried or spray-dried extracts prepared from A. satureioides extractive solution were obtained by macerating inflorescences in 80% ethanol (v/v). All the extractive solutions were prepared with a plant : solvent ratio of 7.5% (w/v). Different letters in the same column indicate significant differences () in the amount of metals between extracts and the A. satureioides inflorescences.
