Experiment design on grouping, schematic representation of the methodology used. (a) All of the WT group mice and Terc^−/− group mice were randomly distributed to 3 subgroups ( per subgroup): (1) controls with no treatment, (2) mice receiving manual acupuncture (MA), (3) mice receiving electric acupuncture (EA). (b) The mice received MWM test. In the 5th day, the MWM test was taken, and then MA/EA treatment was performed for 7 days. After the last MA/EA treatment administration, the last probe test was carried out. And all of the mice were sacrificed after the last behavioral observations (24 h later).
