Lupinus mutabilis Edible Beans Protect against Bacterial Infection in Uroepithelial Cells

E. coli No. 12 biofilm adherence and thickness. Bacteria and L. mutabilis extract were added to LB medium without salt with supplementation of 0 mM and 5 mM of glucose, respectively. Bacteria were incubated with 5% CO₂ for 72 h before being washed and stained with crystal violet for spectrophotometry. Data shown are mean +/- SEM. P < 0.0001. Biofilm assays were calculated from at least two independent experiments with six replicates per condition.
