LHRD improves metabolic parameters of ApoE^−/− mice. All ApoE^−/− mice were fed with high fat and high cholesterol diet for ten weeks. Meanwhile, all ApoE^−/− mice at 6 weeks were intragastrically administered LHRD (100, 200, 400 mg/kg) or vehicle for 10 weeks, and age-matched C57BL/6J mice were used as control.
