Twelve weeks after HACE treatment, blood glucose, blood lipid, and renal function parameters of the nondiabetic control group (Con), streptozotocin-induced diabetic group (DN), and the low-dose-HACE-treated (HACE-L) and high-dose-HACE-treated (HACE-H) and benazepril (Bena) positive control groups were tested. Except albuminuria in urine and blood glucose in plasma, other indicators were detected using the blood serum. BUN: blood urea nitrogen; CREA: creatinine; T-CHO: total cholesterol; TG: triglyceride; LDL-C: low-density lipoprotein-cholesterol; HDL-C: high-density lipoprotein-cholesterol. Data are presented as mean ± SD from 10 animals () for each group. versus Con; versus Con; versus DN; versus DN; versus Bena. |
