Optimized Extract from Corylopsis coreana Uyeki (Hamamelidaceae) Flos Inhibits Osteoclast Differentiation

Effect of C. coreana Uyeki flos extracts on RANKL induced the mRNA expressions of osteoclastic-specific genes. The BMMs were pretreated with vehicle (0.1% DMSO) or C. coreana Uyeki flos extracts (30 μg/mL) for 1 hr and then treated with RANKL (10 ng/mL) and M-CSF (30 ng/mL) for the designated time periods. The total RNA was extracted using TRIzol reagent, and mRNA expression levels of NFATc1, OSCAR, Cathepsin K, and TRAP were measured by real-time PCR. The internal control was used with GAPDH. ; ; .
