Effect of CCE on proinflammatory cytokine production in LPS-induced RAW264.7 macrophages. RAW264.7 cells were pretreated with CCE (30–100 μg/mL) for 1 h and stimulated with LPS (100 ng/mL) for 24 h. Levels of TNF-α (a), IL-6 (b), and IL-1β (c) that were present in the supernatants were quantified using ELISA. Each value indicates the mean ± SEM and is representative of results obtained from three independent experiments. versus control group; versus LPS-stimulated group. DEX: dexamethasone.
