A Comparative Study of Melissa officinalis Leaves and Stems Ethanolic Extracts in terms of Antioxidant, Cytotoxic, and Antiproliferative Potential

Percentage of viable cells—human keratinocytes (HaCat), after stimulation with M. officinalis leaves and stems extracts (20, 100, 250, 500, and 1000 μg/mL) for 24 h. The viability was assessed by using Alamar blue assay and was expressed as percentage of viable cells (%) related to positive control (cells stimulated with EtOH, the solvent used for obtaining the extracts). Data are expressed as mean values ± SD of three independent experiments done in triplicate and and were calculated by one-way ANOVA followed by Tukey’s post hoc test.
