Effect of AECe on serum glucose level after glucose loading in normal (a) and diabetic mice (b). The mice which fasted for 16 h received AECe (200 mg/kg), glibenclamide (2 mg/kg), or only distillated water (control) and 30 minutes after, glucose was administered (p.o.) at 1 g/kg.
