Groups of mice (n = 5-6) were submitted to injection of L-arginine or saline, treated with HEVm (50, 100, or 200 mg/kg), dexamethasone (Dexa; 5 mg/kg), or vehicle (saline) and serum was collected after 72 h of induction. and versus the respective saline + vehicle group or , , and versus the respective AP + vehicle group.
