SJA inhibits the hyphal growth of fungi. The C. albicans SC5314 cells were incubated in RPMI 1640 liquid medium at 37°C for 3 h in the absence or presence of different concentrations of SJA (416 μg/ml or 832 μg/ml) or FCZ (0.5 μg/ml). The hyphal development was viewed by light microscopy and photographed after 0 h, 1 h, 2 h and 3 h of incubation.
