Oral B401 treatment effectively increases blood levels of calcium and phosphorus and serum levels of estradiol-17β in ovariectomized mice. Statistical comparison of quantified levels of (a) calcium, (b) phosphorus, and (c) estradiol-17β in blood/serum among WT + sham, WT + B401, OVX + sham, and OVX + B401 mice. The results are shown as mean ± SEM (P < 0.01, P < 0.05, two-way ANOVA followed by Student–Newman–Keuls multiple comparison post-test), and experiments were repeated three times for each treatment.
