. Cells were then (a) treated with various concentrations of XFC for 72 hours and then incubated with MTT (0.5 mg/mL) for 4 hours in order to quantify cell proliferation (a representative curve is shown for each cell line). (b) IC50
values were obtained for cell line treatments, which were performed in triplicate.
