Adenine Inhibits the Growth of Colon Cancer Cells via AMP-Activated Protein Kinase Mediated Autophagy

<div>Adenine inhibited the growth of colorectal cancer cells. HT29 cells and Caco-2 cells were treated with adenine for 24 (a) and 48 (b) hours. Cell viability was evaluated using the MTT assay.
