Effect of QDHX decoction on ENaC-α and AQP-1 expression in the epithelial cells. The localization of ENaC-α and AQP-1 was determined using fluorescence staining. Cells were immunostained with primary antibodies against ENaC-α and AQP-1 and then stained with Alexa Fluor 488-conjugated goat anti-rabbit secondary antibody. The nucleus was stained with 4',6-diamidino-2-phenylindole (DAPI). Merged pictures indicated that the cells’ fluorescence and DAPI overlap (× 600 magnification).
