Green Tea Polyphenols Protect against Acetaminophen-Induced Liver Injury by Regulating the Drug Metabolizing Enzymes and Transporters

<div>Effects of GTP on phase I metabolizing enzymes in mice. Different doses (37.5 mg/kg, 75 mg/kg, or 150 mg/kg) of GTP were orally given to mice 4 h after a single dose of APAP (400 mg/kg) administration with an interval of 8 h. Mice were sacrificed at 4, 12, 20, or 48 h after the first dose of GTP. Liver samples were harvested and processed as indicated in Materials and Methods. Cyp2e1 (a), cyp3a11 (b), or cyp1a2 (c) protein levels were analyzed. Data are expressed as fold change over the control group.
