The Traditional Chinese Medicine Fufang Shatai Heji (STHJ) Enhances Immune Function in Cyclophosphamide-Treated Mice

Figure 2

Effect of the mixture of traditional Chinese medicines, Fufang Shatai Heji (STHJ), on the indices of immune organs in cyclophosphamide- (CTX-) treated mice. Sixty mice were randomly assigned into five groups of 12 mice. One group was used as the normal control group, and the others were intraperitoneally injected with CTX (80 mg/kg/d) for three consecutive days. Animals in the model group were treated with PBS. The remaining three groups were infused by oral gavage once a day for 30 days with low STHJ (10 ml/kg), high STHJ (20 ml/kg), and the Bailing group (1.2 g/kg). (a) Spleen index and (b) thymus index. All data are expressed as mean ± standard deviation (SD) (n = 12). vs. control group; vs. model group.
