WT, wild-type rats; Uox-/--1, normal Uox-/-- rats; Uox−/-−2, Uox−/-−2 treated with combinatorial antibiotics (ampicillin, 90 mg/kg, and ciprofloxacin, 150 mg/kg, for 5 days), and more than 99% bacteria in the group were inhibited or killed.
