The Inhibition effects of chloroform and methanol extracts on 3D spheroids of MDA-MB-231 and A-549, respectively. Spheroids of MDA-MB-231 and A-549 were treated with different concentrations of chloroform and methanol extracts of I. purpurea and etoposide for 24 h (a), 48 h, (b) and 72 h (c). The data shown are the mean ± SD from three independent experiments, each with triplicate wells. Significant differences are indicated by  < 0.05 and  < 0.01 as compared with the untreated control.
